July 18, 2020 – Texas treasure Bobby Flores and his Yellow Rose Band will bring their unique and award-winning brand of Texas Swing to The Cailloux Theater on Saturday, July 18th at 7:30 p.m. for a night filled with singing, steel guitar, amazing fiddling and everything you love about Texas country music.
Performing since the age of seven, Bobby Flores is an award-winning guitarist, steel guitarist, fiddler, vocalist, composer, arranger and producer and champion of the tradition of Texas Swing. He spent five years on the road with “Ray Price and the Cherokee Cowboys,” and recorded with, played with and opened for artist like “The Texas Playboys,” Willie Nelson, Floyd Tillman, Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, George Strait, and many more.
Bobby has earned awards for his artistry that include “Entertainer of the Year,” “Male Artist of the Year,” and “Fiddle Player of the Year.” He’s a member of the Country Music Association of Texas and the Texas Western Swing Hall of Fame, was named the 2014 “Texas Musican of the Year” and in 2002 earned the “Grammy” Award.
