We’re very excited that Villainous Company – which the playwright, Victor L. Cahn calls “a caper for three women” – is set to open TOMORROW – Friday, February 5, and run through February 21. As always, showtimes are 7:30 Friday and Saturday, 2:30 for the two Sunday matinees on February 14 and 21.

Using a cast of just three women, the show presents a fascinating tale that unfolds in real time over the course of an hour and a quarter.

Emery Dorman, (center) is returning to P2K for her third appearance. She plays “Claire,” the central figure in this story of international intrigue.
She is joined by two new faces. Emily Edwards (Right) as “Joanna” and Aliesha Skipping (Left) as “Tracy” are both making their Playhouse 2000 debuts.
As the action opens, we meet Claire coming home from a shopping trip. She is soon joined by Tracy, an agent for an ominously intrusive government agency, and Joanna, who, it appears, may be Claire’s cohort in crime.
The show is directed by R Sheldon Boyce, who most recently directed last season’s Southern Fried Funeral. He is assisted by Sarah Brooks; most will remember her from roles onstage, including in Women In Jeopardy and Glitter Girls.
The story’s twists and turns flow with both humor and suspense, taking the audience on a delightful evening’s journey that is suitable for the whole family.
Social Distance seating will be provided, allowing six feet of distance between pairs of seats. Face coverings will be required for all entering the facility, and all interactions with Ushers and other volunteers and staff will be “contactless.”
Tickets for Villainous Company are $22 each, and attendance will be capped at just 40 per performance. Advance reservations are recommended – you can make them HERE.
