Don’t forget that “Shakespeare In The Park” 2023 will be presented June 2 and 3 at 8:00 pm in Louise Hays Park. (note NOT 8:30 as had been published in some places).
This year, Playhouse 2000, in partnership with The City of Kerrville Parks and Recreation and Tivy High School Tech Theater, presents Richard III in an adaptation by Producer/Director Jessica Sturm.
Our first foray into the world of Shakespeare’s history plays, Richard III may be the best known. It tells a chilling tale of the rise to tyrannical power and the short reign of this tragic, real-life King of England.
Jeffery Hensel (left) will portray the title role in Shakespeare’s history Richard III, playing in Louise Hays Park June 2 and 3 at 8:00 – Free Admission!
Thanks to the support of The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, Shakespeare In the Park 2023 is presented as a gift to the community, with no admission charge. Donations to allow us to continue the work will be gratfully accepted!
Pack a picnic and a couple of lawn chairs to enjoy a night of classic theater under the stars along the banks of the Guadalupe River. We’ll see you there!
