The Playhouse 2000 production of Alan Menken and Howard Ashman’s smash-hit musical Little Shop of Horrors was put “on hold” back in March to keep the cast safe from the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
Now, we are cautiously making plans to re-gather the cast and crew in preparation for presenting the show beginning August 7th in The Cailloux Theater.
Most of the cast and crew for the show will be convening rehearsals beginning July 13th, and they’ll work for about three weeks putting the final preparations on the show in time for the re-open.
In order to adhere to recommendations for maintaining a healthy distance in our audiences, we have reduced the capacity of The Cailloux Theater to just 250 seats, set up in sets of two at least six feet away from other filled seats.
[If your group is larger than two people from the same household, please call rather than purchase tickets online, so that we can seat you together and re-arrange our available seating to meet distancing goals.]
If you have already made reservations to enjoy “Little Shop,” our Box Office will contact you to confirm your date and seating assignment. If you can no longer attend, we’ll arrange an exchange or refund. Those without tickets will be able to make reservations beginning Tuesday, May 26 at 10 am, either online or by phone at (830) 896-9393.
Please note that dates/times for both the rehearsals and the performances are subject to change based on information gathered between now and then. We appreciate your understanding.
