We regret to announce that, in compliance with directives from the office of the Governor and the City of Kerrville, this weekend’s performances of “King Lear” have been cancelled.
This announcement supersedes information sent via email and Facebook only hours ago, and we apologize for the confusion.
We are already at work on options to save the work that dozens of volunteers have dedicated hundreds of hours preparing. One option is to try creating a version of this production that you can enjoy on-line. Whether that’s a “live stream” or a broadcast recording, and when/where it will be available, we don’t yet know. Please watch this space for details as they become available.
In the meanwhile, we offer a sincere thank you to the project’s director, Jessica Roberts, it’s Stage Manager, Kerri Sparkman, it’s Technical Director, Treston Mack, and to many, many more that have worked to make this show possible.
As we take this step, the need for financial support from of those who appreciate programming like this is even more important than ever. If you’re able to contribute, please click HERE or text “LEAR2020” TO 44321.
We thank you for your understanding
