Preparing for Auditions
Please come to the audition prepared to sing one of the following song selections (of your choice). Included here is the sheet music, a track with vocals to help you learn the song, and an accompaniment track (the music without the vocals). The accompaniment track without vocals is what you will use at the audition.
Choose the song that you feel the most confident with and that you feel shows off your voice the best, regardless of which character sings the song.

Note: Everyone will sing one song for the initial audition, but you MAY be asked to sing one of the other selections at the audition or at the callback audition, so it is a good idea to familiarize yourself with all of them, if you can.
Pro-Tip: As you learn the song, it may help you to listen to the entire song a few times. You can easily find them on YouTube. But make sure you get the “Jr” part in your search – some of the music for Shrek the Musical Jr is slightly different than the original.
Video Audition Submissions
We HIGHLY recommend that auditionees attend in person, however, we also understand that some interested actors may not live in the area and may not be able to travel here for the audition dates. If that is the case, we welcome recorded video audition submissions.
For instructions on how to submit a video audition, please see this document: Shrek Video Audition Instructions
