May 28 and 29, 2027 – Playhouse 2000 and the City of Kerrville present the 2027 Shakespeare in the Park production, Much Ado About Nothing, Friday and Saturday, May 28 and 29 at 8 pm – location to be determined.
Much Ado About Nothing is one of the Bard’s most beloved comedies, blending witty banter, romance, mistaken identities, and humorous deception. Set in the Italian town of Messina, the play follows two contrasting love stories: the spirited battle of wits between the sharp-tongued Beatrice and Benedick, and the courtship of the young Claudio and Hero, whose relationship is threatened by a malicious plot. Through clever schemes, comic misunderstandings, and heartfelt revelations, the characters ultimately discover the power of love, trust, forgiveness, and second chances.
Shakespeare in the Park is a free event – no ticket required. The location of the 2027 will be announced as soon as possible.
