Don’t forget about P2K’s Adult Acting Workshops with guest instructor Janice Fronczak, of the University of Nebraska at Kearney, June 12 through 23, 9am to noon.
This year’s workshop theme will be “Vintage Moving Acting Scenes,” giving participants the chance to try their hand at some of the most famous scenes from the golden age of cinema.
In this two-week class, meeting in the Werlein Annex Studio, you’ll develop characters from titles like Rebecca, The Birds, Citizen Kane, Adam’s Rib, All About Eve, It Happened One Night, Sunset Boulevard, and more!
Week one, June 12 through 16, will focus on Drama and Mystery. The second week, June 19 through 23, will look at light-hearted and Comedy films. Each session will give you the tools to create realistic portrayals of some of the most memorable scenes ever committed to paper (or film), and a session-closing performance opportunity.
Your $220 tuition covers the cost of materials and both weeks’ workshops. Scholarships are available – inquire at the Box Office.
